CONFINED SPACE? LIMITED ACCESS?
RESTRICTED ACCESS PILING IS THE KEY

Piling is the most versatile way of strengthening a building’s foundations.

Piling is used for new buildings and underpinning an existing building to counter problems like subsidence. Piles come in a range of types but mini-piles are becoming increasingly popular in domestic properties. It goes through the weaker soil, transferring the load to the more robust soil or bedrock.

However, often you will encounter a workspace with limited access or located in a confined space. Purkelly Bros offer a restricted access piling service to overcome such access issues across Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex, West Sussex and the South East.

WHERE DOES MINI-PILING COME INTO IT?

This is a variation on piling, using piles with a narrow diameter. This makes them light and inexpensive but still able to support a considerable load.

Unlike the traditional boring method, no extra supports are needed, even in weak soil.
Mini-piling is particularly useful if you do not have a lot of space to work with because the equipment is required is significantly smaller. It is also handy in built-up areas because it causes less noise and vibrations, while still producing secure foundations.

Mini-piling can even be used for bridges and offshore wind farms, making it a very versatile method of strengthening your foundations.
